"We certainly live in unprecedented times. Never before has the entire world been brought to a screeching halt as it has this year. All of us have had to make major adjustments. Transitioning to offering all our classes online was particularly difficult for Indian Bible College since we are relational at our core. However, in order to protect our community at large and to comply with State and Federal recommendations, we did so for a short period. Indian Bible College temporarily cancelled classes on Thursday, March 19, in an effort to protect the health and wellness of the faculty, staff, and students at Indian Bible College, as well as of the community at large. All classes for the remainder of the semester were offered online as of April 13th. IBC delayed the start of Fall semester, 2020 by one week and then started offering in-person classes again August 21. In addition to in-person, classes are available currently by the synchronous online participation method.

FAQs: HOW COVID-19 IS CHANGING IBC'S OPERATIONS
How will Indian Bible College's online education environment work?
This current semester all IBC classes for which there was demand are being offered using the synchronous online method (i.e. learning happens in real time with a set schedule and required login time) delivered via Google Meets. Online students are expected to meet the same requirements as in-person students, including in-class participation.
What happened related to IBC's Commencement on May 23rd?
Commencement was live-streamed, took place in person with distancing in place, and was attended as a “drive in” event. Access to this recorded event is still available at: https://youtu.be/sIL3At8_kPU.
Is IBC still hosting campus visits and events for prospective students?
Out of an abundance of caution and based on the recommendations of local, national, and global public health organizations, IBC has made the decision to limit all campus visits and events. To learn more about scheduling a visit, please contact the Office of Admissions at (928) 774-3890. We are gladly accepting applications for Spring semester which begins in January and Fall semester in August. Also, while we may not be hosting you for an on-campus visit yet, you may still get a glimpse of Indian Bible College by visiting our YouTube channel here.
Is Counseling available for IBC students?
Yes, counseling is available. Students may contact the Dean of Men, Dean of Women, or Student Life Intern to discuss available counseling opportunities.
What health care options are available to IBC students?
IBC recently secured the services of a nurse practitioner who is available 24/7 for texts or phone consultations. The NP is also available in person, on campus, for a limited number of hours each week. COVID-19 testing, with results within 15 minutes, is offered on campus as well.
Coconino County Health and Human Services are asking all residents who feel sick and think they may have COVID-19 to:
· Isolate yourself.
· Contact your health care provider or CCHHS at (928) 679-7222. They will ask screening questions to determine your level of risk.
· If they feel you exhibit signs and symptoms of COVID-19, they will assist with providing information on where and how to get tested.
Additionally, Coconino County has set up an information line to provide general information about COVID-19, as well as transfer options to reach the CCHHS Clinic, a communicable disease team representative and a liaison officer. That number is (928) 679-7300.
